Exploring the castle hotel and the surrounding park is already an exciting experience in itself, but beyond that, we offer a wide range of services for all age groups, whether you are looking for carefree relaxation or active recreation.
Bowling (for a fee)
Bowling in our pub is a classic activity for couples, families, or even corporate gatherings. No reservation is required for the two lanes; it can be used during the pub’s opening hours.
Escape room (for a fee)
Our colleagues lock you in one of the tower rooms of the castle, and the game begins! You must solve logical and skill-based puzzles to escape while time is ticking. Our strictly family-friendly game can be played by 2–6 people, and participants of all ages can take part in solving the consecutive riddles. Booking is available at the reception.
Table football (free)
The table football accessible from the castle pub, as well as the squash court, offer exciting sports opportunities all year round. No reservation is required; it can be used during the pub’s opening hours.
Billiards
Guests have the opportunity to play billiards in two locations within the castle. In the pub, it is free during opening hours, while for a more exclusive experience, guests can play on a nearly 50-year-old pool table located near the Károlyi Salon on the first floor of the Renaissance wing – for a fee.
Bellevue lookout (free)
Climbing the impressive tower of the castle’s main building may be a bit of a challenge, but the viewpoint at the top level rewards every effort. The word “Bellevue” means “beautiful view,” but that hardly does it justice. The breathtaking panorama offers a perfect photo opportunity, overlooking the surrounding estates, Parádsasvár, and the nearby peaks of the Mátra: Várhegy, Vércverés, and Széchenyi Hill.
Hungarian Sports Stars Exhibition (free)
In the sports exhibition located in the Millennium Hall, original relics of Hungarian athletes and Olympians can be viewed up close. Several of the displayed items come from athletes who have also enjoyed the hospitality of Kastélyhotel.
Playroom (free)
Our youngest guests can let their imagination run free in the playroom located in the Geraldine Salon in the “enchanted tower,” where childcare is also available during selected periods.
Fitness room (free)
In the fitness room located on the ground floor of our Romantique wing, you will find all the essential equipment needed for a workout, such as a treadmill, weights, exercise bike, and strength machines.
Table football (free)
The Garlando Pro Champion table football in the pub is available free of charge for all our guests.
Air hockey and arcade machines (for a fee)
The air hockey table and various arcade machines, also located in the pub, further expand the range of entertainment options. These machines operate with tokens, which can be requested from the bar staff.
4K car simulator (free)
An exciting and realistic car simulator for children, located in the pub.
PlayStation 5 (free)
If the weather is bad or you’re simply looking for light entertainment, pre-installed PlayStation 5 games are available for video game enthusiasts.
Library (free)
If you have already finished reading the book you brought from home, or would just like to browse through a long-desired book, our smaller library located in the Károlyi salon offers works from numerous authors across a variety of genres.
Chess and board games (free)
In our communal spaces, chess, backgammon, and other traditional board games are available to our guests, who can test their skills in an exclusive environment.
Tennis (free)
The tennis courts located behind our outdoor pools are free to use. Tennis balls and rackets are also provided free of charge at the reception.
Volleyball (free)
Among the outdoor sports facilities of our castle, you will find a volleyball court, the use of which is completely free. If you did not bring a ball, you can request one from our colleagues at the reception.
Basketball (free)
Our basketball court is also open to fans of team sports and enthusiastic amateurs alike—whether for a match or just shooting hoops, its use is free. A basketball can be obtained at the reception.
Table tennis (free)
Behind the seasonal outdoor pools, you will also find a ping-pong table, which can be used free of charge. The necessary equipment can be requested at the reception.
Teqball table (free)
Whether you are an experienced teqball player or trying the sport for the first time, everyone can try it free of charge on our castle’s outdoor teqball table.
Bicycle rental (for a fee)
If you would like to explore the surroundings on two wheels, you can rent our Gepida bicycles in men’s, women’s, and children’s sizes. For further information, please contact the reception.
